Profile:
I obtained Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Kyoto University in September 2020. From November 2020 to March 2022, I worked as a researcher at the University of Tokyo. Then I worked as an assistant professor at the University of Tsukuba from April 2022 to December 2024. In January 2025, I joined Hokkaido University. My research interests lie in both the theoretical and applied aspects of machine learning.

Message:
My research is multidisciplinary– I not only use mathematical approaches to analyze machine learning methods, but I am also interested in applying them to a wide range of scientific fields, including computer vision, natural language processing, bioinformatics and chemo-informatics.
