In this competition, three members from a same university make a team and solve problems using one PC. The number of participants are consistently grow in these years and we have <a href=\"https:\/\/icpc.baylor.edu\/worldfinals\/pdf\/Factsheet.pdf\">more than 4 thousand teams from nearly 3 thousands universities from over 103 countries on six continents for ACM ICPC 2018.<\/a><br \/>\nFor advancing ACM-ICPC World Finals, there are two preliminary contests. One is domestic preliminary contest that selects teams for advancing Asia Regional Contest held in Japan. The second is Asia Regional Contest. Only small numbers of teams are selected to advance World Finals. In 2017, our team four-t advances Asia Regional Contest Tsukuba 2017 by the <a href =\t\t       \"http:\/\/icpc.iisf.or.jp\/2017-tsukuba\/results\/\">result<\/a> of <a \"http:\/\/icpc.iisf.or.jp\/2017-tsukuba\/domestic\/\">domestic   preliminary contest<\/a> held on July 14, 2017.<br \/>\nThey participated\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/icpc.iisf.or.jp\/2017-tsukuba\/regional\">Asia Regional Contest Tsukuba 2017<\/a><a> held on December 16-17, 2017.<\/a><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-336 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.csit.ist.hokudai.ac.jp\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/02\/four-t-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"923\" height=\"518\" \/><br \/>\nTeam four-t Yuuya Sugie, Computer Science and Information Technology Course, B4<br \/>\nRyosuke Takizawa, Computer Science and Information Technology Course, B3<br \/>\nYoutaro Tabata, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, B2<br \/>\nThey can not perform their best due to the different environment including the problems are provided in English, they can solve 2 questions out of 11 and results are 43 out of 50 teams.<br \/>\nHowever, members of the team can participate the contest for the next year, we would like to see how they improve based on this experiment.<br \/>\nMembers are organizing <a href=\"http:\/\/hcpc.web.fc2.com\/\">Hokkaido University Contest Programming Circle (HCPC)<\/a> for their study.
